where is your inner maiden?
When you put your hands on your womb and connect to the person you were as a teenager or young adult, who do you find?
How did the experience of your first bleed impact your life? Were you welcomed across the threshold into womanhood by a circle of grandmothers?
What about your first sexual experiences? Did you grow up in a sex-positive culture, guided by the adults around you in a way that was sensitive and honouring?
Or was there silence…or shame….or fear...or uncertainty.
Did you grow up allowing your boundaries to be crossed again and again because you had no idea what they even were, let alone how to hold them?
Were you taught by the over-culture that to be a woman who enjoyed sex was to be a slut, or that nice girls didn’t, or that if you didn’t have sex you were frigid?
Were you presented with a model of marriage with a man, and happily ever after with no space for your own unique sexuality to blossom and a feeling that something must be horribly wrong with you?
Were you told to be quiet, not to get angry, to never say no, to always placate, to be kind, to put other people first?
Did you rebel and do all the things you weren’t meant to – have sex and take drugs, with little regard for your own safety, just to say FUCK YOU to everyone who tried to control you?
Were you confused or embarrassed or disgusted or annoyed with your inconvenient at best or excruciatingly painful at worst, menstrual cycle?
Did you have a feeling that you were too much, whilst also carrying a sense that you can never be enough?
rewriting the story
We all grew up in a traumatised society, no matter how amazing (or not) our family of origin was, and most of us can resonate with at least some, if not all, of these experiences.
We are not able to be adequately cared for and held as we step through our teens into adulthood because this transition is a step out of the family and into the culture we belong to, because the kind of holding we need simply does not exist.
And AT FUCKING LAST we are recognising this.
We are realising that the paradigm needs to be shifted.
And we are the ones to do it.
This ceremonial container is an opportunity to unravel some of the stories that were imprinted on your inner maiden that you carry to this day, and to rewrite them – and when we do this, we do it not just for ourselves, but for all women….not just for our own children, but for all children….because when we do this work, we are changing the fabric of society…..
Rites of passage are such a potent place to hack cultural norms because this is where the values of society are reinforced, so much of our imprinting happens at these times.

This April we are creating a 4-week long container to do the work of unravelling the stories of your inner maiden, learning how to hold her, lifting the shame that settles in the yoni and the rest of the body at this time that we carry to this day….
The container will begin with an opening ceremony online where we will begin to connect with our inner maidens. We will call in the resources that we need to hold her through this journey and set our intentions for the process.
We will then have three weeks of preparation for our ceremony – during this time we will be encouraging you to do various practices that will help you to understand the stories of your maidenhood - the stories of your menstrual cycle, your sexuality, your yoni and all of the elements that might have negatively impacted your growth, your access to power and your inner flame.
We will offer somatic and embodied practices that will support you on your journey, including yoni massage - we will be working mainly with the clitoris and the vulva as the gatekeepers to our inner sanctum.
The 24 hour ceremony will take place in West Penwith, Cornwall on the 18th April
This ceremony is the focal point of our container:
We will gather on Friday for a day of magical, connecting, embodying practices that will help us to connect with our Maidens, to honour the land on which we are holding the ceremony and connect with one another through the Womb Matrix, before settling into our Sacred Prayer Evening Ceremony.
The following day we will finish with a morning of integrative practices designed to ground us and integrate our Maiden back into our bodies.
Our Group Integration call will take place online weeks after the ceremony – this group integration really helps everybody to complete the journey.

The spring portal is perfect for igniting the flame of our Inner Maiden.
This time of year corresponds with the rising energy of the Maiden in our bodies….with the waxing moon, with our pre-ovulatory (or follicular) phase in our menstrual cycle.
It is a time of growth, new beginnings, the rising sun, expansion and in our life cycle, the time of our lives when we were in our Maiden phase.
It is so powerful to align our ceremonies with the part of the solar or lunar cycle that they correspond with – this is witchcraft – doing the right thing at the right time AMPLIFIES the energy and brings an acceleration of change.
The rising energy of the earth is so palpable in spring as she adorns herself in the most beautiful and breath-taking spring flowers that erupt from the Cornish Hedgerows like a symphony of colour.
These flowers open the portal to the Fey – the fairy world that our children inhabit so freely and that we regard as “no-such-thing” – and yet there is an energetic connection to this Otherworld that our ancestors understood and respected and tended.
Spend an hour in stillness in an ancient woodland surrounded by flowers and then tell us there is no such thing as fairies or magic!!
It’s no accident that Fairy Stories have ended up the domain of children – the time of the child and the maiden in the Medicine Wheel is in the Spring, when the portal is opening.
We will be calling in the support of the flowers and certain aspects of the Fey to support our journey.
Kernow – Land of Dragons
The spectacular lands of Kernow in the rising energy of spring is the perfect setting for Yoni Maiden.
The energy of the piskies and The Fey is strong here. We are rich with legends of the broken hearts of giants and mermaids, of smugglers and shipwrecks and pirates. We are soaked in magic and possibility. The wild Atlantic Ocean – the womb of the earth – surrounds Cornwall and her waves break all around West Penwith where the dragon lays her head.
This land is held by dragons, criss-crossed by Ley Lines and scattered with ancient sacred sites, stone circles and quoits, Bronze- Age villages and mysterious underground chambers.
West Penwith, where we are holding this ceremony, has the highest concentration of ancient sacred sites in Europe.
Our ceremony will take place on land that has been carefully tended for years by a team dedicated to regeneration, permaculture, ritual and earthcare.
There are Holy Wells within a stones throw of our ceremonial roundhouse where we will be meeting the Maiden’s of the Wells and holding our water blessings.
We know these lands well. We have held MANY sacred ceremonies in West Cornwall, for ourselves and for others. We have birthed and raised our children here. We have bled on the earth and have been taught by grief and death. We know where the medicine grows and where to see the full moon rise. We have honoured the earth and the ancestors of these lands at many sacred sites and have been blessed with their wisdom.
Our ceremonial roundhouse has been blessed and charged with so many of our own and others sacred ceremonies – it’s a very special place.
Who is this for?
This container is for anyone with a vulva aged over 21.
We welcome post-menopausal women. It is never too late to do this work and the wisdom of your witching years or crone years will be so welcome and treasured in our circle.
Women who no longer have a womb (or any part of their sexual and reproductive anatomy) are warmly welcomed into our circle and this work will do so much to heal any of the trauma around the loss of your anatomy and you may learn how to deepen into connection with the energy of your womb which will still be active.
If you have severe trauma/ abuse around your childhood/ teenage years THAT YOU HAVE NOT DONE ANY WORK WITH – this container will not be suitable for you. Please contact us if you aren’t sure.
Our spaces are clothes optional – we encourage sovereignty and choice around this so you definitely do not have to take your clothes off at any point – and often there is a liberation in this for women who have been body shamed for so many years – we therefore advocate CHOICE around this. People may or may not take their clothes off, but if other women being naked is a trigger for you, this space won’t be suitable for you.
There are certain pre-existing conditions and medications that are contra-indicated for this work – we will speak with you when you book to ensure that you will be safe doing the work.
Safety is absolutely paramount for us. No space can be 100% safe but we work with the principle of creating a “safe-enough” space – we welcome all ethnicities, sexual orientations and gender identities – if you have a vulva, you are welcome. If you do not have a vulva, this retreat will not be suitable for you because we drop very deeply into our sexual and reproductive anatomy and the experiences of growing up as a young person with a vulva in our culture.

We are trauma informed, highly trained facilitators who are dedicated to our work. We hold a strong and powerful space, with a high ratio of space-holders to participants. what’s it like?….
….The ceremony was a portal – one that called me back to my myself, to the raw, untamed power that has always been within me but fearfully shielded and buried beneath layers of trauma, shame, social conditioning and silence.
As I stepped into the sacred space, I felt the presence of generations of women who had walked this path before me, their wisdom woven into the air, into our songs, into the earth beneath my feet.
This is the first time I felt what it truly meant to be sovereign – to stand in my power and not because I had to fight for it, but because it was mine! The ceremony had stripped me bare – quite literally – blowing me wide open to be raw, radiant and completely free and fuck does that feel good!
I left the space a Yoni Goddess, not because I had something new, but because I was able to truly see myself as who I was, beneath all the bullshit, I am all that I am.
My body is divine, my intuition is my compass and I do not need to seek acceptance outside of myself – I am my own source – sacred woman I am!

….I left with a deeper understanding of who I am as a woman. I have been on a spiritual path for some years now, but this retreat cemented something in me that I know I will carry with me through my life.

I have lived in Cornwall since 2012, a long story but essentially I had a life changing experience which led me to make significant changes in my life that were in alignment with the truth of who I am.
When I moved to these lands I felt that I had returned home, that I belonged. Something I had not experienced before. My prayer was to deepen into a life which held more spiritual meaning.
I was able to be on these lands and listen to what these lands were wanting from me. How could I be of service to these lands and community?
I feel that I have followed the gossamer threads that have brought me closer to my true self and what I’m here to offer; to support others to come home to themselves so they can live a full and rich life.
I am now in my 51st year, in my own rites of passage with Menopause, and feel more alive with passion for my purpose.
Since moving to Cornwall in 2012 I have worked with people in a therapeutic, experiential, and shamanic way. My training includes psychotherapy, breathwork facilitation, Non violent Communication, Compassionate Inquiry (Gabor Mate), plant intimacy, shamanic shadow work and space holding, Shamanic Integration, and group work especially with women and Inner child healing.
I have a wide range of experience that I weave together to support people with their life transitions, challenges, releasing past trauma, and Rites of Passage. Bringing all of my experiences and training to supporting people continues to be a rich experience for me.
I have been holding Sacred Prayer Circles with our Elders since 2021.
Being in Sacred ceremony fills me with joy and Awe of the wisdom of Great Spirit. The world makes more sense to me as i watch my own and others conditioning and constructs just melt away. Holding space with compassionate presence and in prayer is an important part of my work here on these lands.
Working with these Elders opens us up more and more to the potential of healing within our bodies so we can feel ‘safe enough’ to drop into a healing and transformative space. We can also connect more deeply with our Ancestral lineage when in sacred space with these Elders, so we can cultivate a relationship with our Ancestors and call on them to support us in our healing and the Earths healing.
We have witnessed profound changes in people who come to our Sacred Prayer Circles as they continue to live their life in beauty, being more and more connected to their authentic true selves. I am full in my heart with the potency of this offering. to come together in this way at this time is what we are needing. My prayer is that the womban who need this AT THIS TIME will hear the fire of our INNER MAIDEN call.

Kate Moo
I have been tapping into womb wisdom for the past 11 years – first in my own unfolding journey and then since 2016, I have worked directly with women’s bodies and the female pelvic bowl in what began as a tantric bodywork for women and evolved over time. I have been holding ceremonies and workshops for women since 2018.
I am trauma-informed in my space-holding and I continue to undergo professional trainings year on year to expand my knowledge and understanding of my crafts.
I am passionate about restoring honour and dignity to the female sexual and reproductive organs – my path in this lifetime is to help humanity to remember that the place that life comes from in a woman’s body – the CUNT, the WOMB, the VAGINA, the YONI, the PUSSY… is SACRED and that SEX and SEXUAL ENERGY are sacred.
I see ritual and ceremonial space as being potent portals through which we can bring about lasting change, receive wisdom, come more self-realised, create connection and tap into the vast and limitless power of the unconscious mind.
Tracey and I have been holding powerful ceremonies together for the past few years and have known one another and walked our path of growth together since 2018. There is a very special alchemy between us which anyone who has been to our ceremonies will tell you.
When we hold space together, it’s fucking solid.
It is joyous and fun, grounded and safe whilst enabling women to open the portals to spirit and touch parts of themselves that they have not been able to before.
We’ve done so many ceremonies together, both alone and with others, and when we prepare for these ceremonies, we do it with dedication, love, precision and care that absolutely shows in the magic we create.
We both bring our different skills and energy and wisdom to the space which compliment one another and is alchemised into something that could not exist without both of us there.
