honouring our blood…honouring the earth

Early in 2025, I had a dream that told me I needed to go an ancient sacred site near my home and pour my blood.

I can see this place from my home - it is on top of a hill in West Cornwall, inhabited 6000 years ago by our ancestors. From the top of this hill you can see the ocean and across the landscape of West Cornwall. It’s a super powerful and potent place - now topped with a very phallic 18th century obleisk in honour of a man who became very rich taking enormous amounts metal from the earth.

When I went there to pour my blood and drum, I knew I needed to make a commitment to go there, every full moon, for the next 13 moons, and pour my blood. My dear friend and sister and co-facilitator Tracey has made this commitment with me.

We are calling anyone who wants to join us to come and pour their blood with us, ceremonially.

When we do this, we give back to the earth, we honour the earth, we honour ourselves and our blood and our wombs.

This is blood magic.

This truly creates change.

Sometimes we will go at moonset in the early hours, sometimes at moonrise in the the evening…we create an earth altar, we sing, we drum, we witness one another - as the weather gets warmer we might dance and feast there as well.

For women who do not bleed for whatever reason, we invite you to bring an essence of yourself, made with your DNA - maybe some pussy juice in water or whatever you choose to honour the earth with.
